I have a 1994 Gulfstream 232. It did not come with the aux berth cushions (making the cabin a twin bed). Would anyone be so kind and send me pictures and dimensions? If you have a spare set for sale, I am of course interested but I suspect I have to have them made.

Thank you!

Lot's of pics out there in net-land - google and/or look on boat trader.

Not to knock anyone on this board, but you don't make cushions from someone else's measurements. What if they're off by an inch? You make exact templates and then build the cushions.... or have a local upholsterer do it.

Consider going to at least 4" medium density foam if you're actually going to sleep on it.

Cardboard and then foamboard insulation is a great way for the templates.

I did research this quite a bit before posting. Not too much out there! I do agree on making my own templates and going to an upholsterer. I was just wondering if the cushions had a plywood backing or some sort of stand in order to bridge the gap of the walking area. Pictures and measurements could be helpful

Is there a lip around the "hole"? Then "yes" to the center piece(s) (your call) having a plywood (or composite like pvc board if you want) bottom. Or, are there notches for support boards?

I did a 10 second search on the net and it returned a whole bunch of interior pics - maybe try changing your search terms?

There are also a bunch listed on BT - I'm sure at least a few of them have interior pics? You really only need a couple pics, if any at all, right?

I've done enough of this over the years - from experience, forget about measurements - focus on making a template - and you don't need measurements for that - they're a waste of time

I'd take measurements and make some brown bag or cardboard templates. If you are not comfortable, have a marine upholstery shop stop by and do it fo you.
