Started my Johnson 150's yesterday in the back yard just to flush them out and let them run on the muffs a bit. Engine fired right up, and no water is coming from the top, only the bottom area. Waiting, waiting, then finally (on a fluke) pushed in a little plastic tip that is part of the flushing mechanism used to flush without running the motors. As it turns out, you need to leave the nozzle end of the flushing mechanism attached so it keeps that closed so water can come out. Engine seems fine, but I was VERY worried. What kind of backward design is that?? Why would you need to leave the hose coupling on for the engine to pee??

Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has made that mistake. Never again.
