Does anyone know a decent way to remove the speaker covers on Boston acoustics voyager speakers? I know a few people on here have them on their boats.
I just got my boat out of storage and noticed that something was spilled on one of them and I want to clean the grill but I can’t get the cover off. Any attempt to pry it off with a screwdriver or putty knife results in the (far too cheaply constructed) plastic smearing like butter. Rather than scar the whole casing I stopped and cleaned most of it with a brush but I’d still like to know how to remove them.

Got bunches of them and love the sound.
To remove the cover, get a very small, sharp object (I use awl or punch).
Start in the corners and gently pry using the hole nearest to the front surface. The surface will act as a fulcrum. Move around the speak until you get the cover loose and then you can pull it off.
