Bahamas trips this time of year are dicey for a small boat.
You may get there but if a lingering front comes thru you may have to wait it out.
If you go, Palm Beach is much closer to West End.
Don't go alone. I agree that the timing could be better. I used to hit the Bahamas often growing up in Miami, Florida. We would never do it this time of year though. Be safe.
