I'm considering a VSR setup but the wiring diagrams I've seen on the web never show a shore power based charger lead. I'd like to know if this is possible before purchasing (??). Thanks.

Are you talking about a BEP module like this?
There are no charger leads, you simply attach the leads to the batts as you normally would. The VSRs sense a charge, they automatically combine the batts. Take the charge source away, they isolate them. Simple as that...

Yes - only the smaller version - I have dual batteries, single engine. Got it on the charge function - wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask before ordering the unit. Thanks for the quick reply.
