Best Bilge Pump Brand/Maker

For your years of experience who do you think makes the best Bilge pump?

What size do you run for your boat? Front and Back?

Rule makes the best pumps. Use the biggest you can afford. I have 1500 forward and 2000 aft in my 25 footer.

PS...check you wire gauge as well as this will determine the maximum amperage you can handle and ultimately the size of the pump motor. a 14gauge wire should handle 15amps max.

I wouldn't use anything smaller than 1500 gph, even on a small runabout.

I like this model - Rulemate, RM 2000. Fully automatic, (built in float switch) has manual connection too.
