Ring leader - how did you get the sharks in the boat? I have the exact same boat, and can't get a tuna up over the ladder bracket 1 due to height out of water, and 2nd, will tear it up.

Wondering your method. Have posted on this subject before but no advice that's really what I'm looking for (sorry guys).

WE basically all grabbed the shark and lifted it into the boat.

We have an 05 chase 273, we use a come-a-long to get the big boys in.

-I've got heavy poly rope that I tie off onto the starboard side bow cleat.
-Attach that to come-a-long (hand winch)
-Attach another poly line or tow stap to the other side of the come-a-long
-Winch that b*#@$%^ in tail first and stick every gaff you have wherever you need to to get leverage. The ladder bracket is secondary here.
-Crack beers and celebrate!!!
