Hi Fellow Grady people,
I have a 94 25 Dolphin and the black plexi glass hatch doors on the transome have dulled over the past couple of months, I just bought the boat in July and when I clean the cockpit , I only use boat soap,I noticed that my doors are no longer glossy, you cant see your reflection. I have tried many cleaners for plastic but nothing seems to work. I wonder do I have to replace them and if I do can I still get them. Does any one else have a similar problem and found a way to get the doors back to a glossy black. Thanks

Restore them just like gelcoat.

Much easier if removed, but can be done in place. Wet sand with 800 then 1000 if you can feel any scratch with a finger nail. Start with heavy duty compund and a wool wheel on a high speed polisher. Switch to a foam pad and 3-M finnesse-it. Add a coat of quality wax and they will look super....jh
