Lining up for bait at Mudhole east of Block Is.
These trawlers keep moving with heavy net cables
being pulled off the stern... this was not in my boat
and I don't think I'd try it in mine. They have the birds
out that makes for a real obstacle course as you pull up
to the port aft side and hold it steady there while you transfer
the bait and $$$ back and forth. Not bad though...$25 almost
fills a 100 quart cooler.

Back of the line... this line seemed to constantly
stay this long:

Small Blue Fin from mudhole. They were all about
this size and we were hooked up all day 10/09/2004.
These guys fight like heck for their size:

Some Block Is stripers...we caught four like this in
the middle of the afternoon in late July free lining
live eels:

Yes...that's me...how did you guess? Pick out the oldest looking one there?? :) The guy with the hat
is a good friend from Florida. Had two other guys on the boat also and one is registered here ... wkeenan.
That picture doesn't do those fish justice... they were fairly chunky
but the way we are holding them they look like they do after the spring spawning run.

We have a very good fisherman at our marina who could be your brother. Nice fellow who fishes hard and does well. He runs a 27' Cobia CC but wants to eventually get into a cabin boat. He wanted my 272 but the time wasn't right.
