I have a GW 268 Islander and am looking to apply a name to each side. The distance from the waterline to the stripe is approx 16 inches. I was looking for some advice on decal size. Do you think 8" lettering is too small?
after your boat is waxed you can take a wax pencil and sketch on the side and wipe it off to gauge. I've also boxed out areas with painters tape to get a sense of size. Of course you'll need to use a good wax remover before you apply the name and then rewax. jh
