I've searched the forum and came up with this thread https://www.greatgrady.com/threads/grady-drive-drain-plug.25678/#google_vignette and the 1st picture of what I believe is the same plug as mine.
![DSCN4746[1].JPG DSCN4746[1].JPG](https://www.greatgrady.com/data/attachments/35/35785-baf61a5518232918fe5a879b9d45c6ef.jpg?hash=1lyRrM4yKQ)
Unfortunately, the part on the right side of the image (with the O-ring) broke off, leaving just the threaded plug screwed in, which is hollow (second pic).

My plan is JB weld a bolt into the hole so I can screw it out.
So can someone tell me about this plug? That is, what I've been taking off for 3 years to drain the bracket actually screws into the part shown on the left side of the image 1, correct? So in order to use a PVC plug as as described in the old thread by ROBERTH as a 3/4" or 1" plug, I will have to remove the outer, female-threaded part? Does it screw in from the top, so I have to go in through the inspection cover and remove it (hate to do that since I got it sealed nicely last year)? If anyone can enlighten me before I tear into it I'd be grateful.
Finally, assuming I can get what remains of the male plug out without buggering anything up, all I really need is the part on the right side of image 1 (still not clear what purpose the O-ring on the outer flange part serves) or I guess just a regular plug that will fit it? I called Grady White and the person in parts wasn't much help and I wasn't sure she knew what a bracket was. I doubt they have one... If anyone knows where that part or a reasonable substitute can be had, please let me know.
Thanks!
