I bought about $150 worth of supplies at Lowes and built a 3x3x8' treated box in about 2 hours or so, complete with 2 locks and all hardware. Only had to cut some boards in advance, then transport the rest to the dock and with my 18 volt drill and screw head it was done and IMHO 300% stronger than any store bought fiberglass box.

 

[NOTHING ELSE MATTERS]

I had done the same thing and used the box for 8-9 years. I'll do the same thing on my new dock space. The best thing about it is you can make it any size/shape you want.

You talking dock box for marina?

Unless private dock, many marinas have strict policies about such boxes.
