Can this be flush mounted on seafarer

I have a 2005 228..
Was wondering if anyone has sucessfully flush mounted a Garmin
5212. Or do I have to put it in the box?

Click on the 5212 template for flush mounting. That will tell you whether you can do it or not.

It seems just a hair too big, that is why I was wondering if anyone had made it work.. Thanks. I probably should have said that in the original post
