Tuesday night as I was sitting on my padded deck chair, (the aluminum cockpit chair with the padded seat and back rest) paging throught the newspaper, I placed the advertisements under my butt to prevent them from blowing away. When I stood up, I noticed the ink from the paper had left marks on the vinyl. I got the Spray nine and went to work but it only lightened it a little and I new a lot more scrubbing would be called for. I looked for the paint thinner which is also great for cleaning vinyl but could not find the can. Then I noticed the bottle of Googone and thought, Why Not? Now, this chair has been out on the patio for a month or so under some trees and I typically sit in it after gardening and lawn mowing so it was filthy. That Googone worked wonders and made that vinyl look brand new. I have read some topics in the past that questioned what type of cleaners to use on vinyl and this had to be the best stuff I have ever used. I am going to take it down to the boat and do the helm and companion seats. I will then give it a shot of 3M protectant afterwards.

Bleach!!! But after you use it, rinse it with water to get it all off, iof you do not it can eat away at the material over time. Then put something on to protect it, I use armoral.
