Anybody have any luck with vinyl spray paint on the cockpit bolsters? Looks like I was to agressive while cleaning. Part of the top finish is gone in about a 2 foot section. :cry: Appreciate any advice except re upolstering. Thanks Bill Berg
The only experience I've had with the vinyl paint was on the interior of a door on an old pickup I used to own. At first it looked better than before but didn't take long for it to begin peeling.
I can't imagine that it would stand up to marine conditions but I could be wrong.
If it were mine I would check into having an upholstery shop recover.
Several folks have reported pretty good results using vinyl sprays. I don't know about longevity especially since the cushions will be exposed to the elements.
