When I was looking for a boat I was between the 208 and 226. There was scant info about cabin size difference between the two. I found a 208 and lay down in it, and did the same with the 226 I just bought. I didn't notice any huge difference. I just fit in my 226 with room for my wife beside me. Cozy for sure, but it is only for two nights max for us. I am 6'2" tall. If the 208 is much smaller it would not be much use. Sorry I don't recall more of the 208. Was in it for a matter of seconds

can't comment on the 226, but my 228 has a significantly bigger cabin than the 208 I had before I got the 228. It was a stretch to call the 208 cabin as a space for 2 adults - the 228 sleeps 2 adults comfortably.

As far as i Know there is no difference between the 226 and the 228 in terms of cabin size right? I think that my 226 cabin would be better if I was a bit shorter, but will work fine regardless as I have a few inches of room above my head and below my feet.

not sure about the size diff between the 226 & 228 cabin. I can tell you that at 6'2" I fit snugly, but do fit, along with wife and dog ;-) Not saying it's huge - doable for one or two nights. Couldn't do that in the 208.

ill second that in my new to me 226. I am 6' 2" also, and do fit. The wife is small, so all is good. Seems like enough room for the dog also. To those thinking about it, think backpacking tent, not kind size bed.
