Discolored Porta Potty Hatch - Help a Newbie

I’m not super anal but…the Porta Potty hatch on my 2015 Freedom 205 is really discolored and bothering me a bit.

Just got the boat in the Fall and it’s on my list to fix. To the veteran GW owners out there, any advice is appreciated.

You all really helped me out already on a few other questions so thank you in advance.

Not sure what it’s made of, just that the sun is changing its color. When I look at other boats on the web I see the same thing so it looks like a discoloring issue. Here is an image I pulled from boat.com for a similar GW Freedom 205

It shouldn't be that hard, at all, to assess whether it's glass/gel or something else - you can likely tell by just touching/feeling/tapping it.

It does like something else, though - maybe acrylic or lexan? I can't answer that part.

Either way, you can't just buff it out. It is what it is. The only fix would be painting - time consuming to make it look right - if not done perfectly, it will end up looking worse than it is now.
 
That door is a molded plastic and solid color through. Suppose you could paint it, but would likely require a lot of prep to make sure you get adhesion.
 
The door looks lighter. I would not expect a part like that to get lighter.
Is it possible that he rest of the surrounding fiberglass has gotten darker?
