just curious as to how well the boat drains water through the scuppers on the 265. We have had several smaller boats like the 185 edgewater cc and the 19' pursuit that seemed to hold water in the stern area even after just giving it a wash down. Not a killer but very annoying. Any issues with the 2000 model with the original yamaha 225's? Also, if we ever do have to replace the engines, which are the best to go with-New/Used/Make/Model?

Thanks-Lee

No problems here ever; and we changed motors from 2 strokes to 4 stroke F225's and with the added weight she sits a little lower but still clears water fine. If we are bottom bouncing and there are 4 of us around the stern then a liitle water may sit there but once we move away from the stern it's clear.

I'm new to my 265 with F250's but no problems so far. I will post up if I need to do the raising thing.
