I have a GW 226 Seafarer. During the past summer a lot of water got into my fuel tank due to a faulty seal on the gas cap. I now have to drain the entire tank. Can anybody advise me as to the best way to drain the tank?
Thank you.

Do a search on this forum --- Many posts about fuel tanks/problems. Most use the sending unit port in the tank itself by removing the sender and then using a siphon. I have a sipon I purchased from Harbor Freight and added a long hose. Be sure to have plenty of containers handy -- DO NOT use milk jugs as the plastic is not thick enough to be safe. I had the same problem and ended up clearing out the ENTIRE fuel system to finally get rid of all possible water in the system.
