Took my 225 out on Saturday, heard a noise coming from below, sounded like a loose line or cable slapping the hull. Brought the boat back to the dock and sure enough, the transducer for my Lowrance was broken off and slapping the hull (stern). The most likely explanation is the fork lifts used to move the boats in dry dock, must have accidentally clipped the transducer. Of course none of the guys at the dock knew anything about it. What's my recourse? Call the manager of the dry dock or just let it go. It's not that big a deal, just irritating, on top of finding the boat tied down without bumpers when we arrived at the dock. :(

I would call..just so that the word gets out that you're observant and you're not afraid to call the boss. Next time they might be more careful so they don't have to listen to you again....and I think that's the point; maybe even more than getting them to fix the transducer.
