Electrical Question

I'm installing a new Garmin 4010 on my Gulfstream. The device asks for 14 AWG wire. The previous owner already wired 10 AWG up the pole. is there any risk in me using the 10 AWG instead? If I can avoid having to run the wire again then I'd like to use what's there. thanks in advance for any info.

Bigger is fine, it's smaller that will get you in trouble ... :wink:

No issues using 10 AWG wire, is thicker, just fuse it as you would fuse a 14 AWG or what ever Garmin recommends (i think it has an inline fuse).
