Does anyone know how to get at the Port side stern scuppers

on the euro style transoms like on my 1994 Sailfish????? :? :? :? :?

I gave it a quick look yesterday but nothing jumped out as a viable

route to them. Is there a secret trap door I am over looking????

Has anyone replaced theirs? HOW?

Thanks,
Tony L.

I am replacing a rear scupper on my 265 express.... it sucks, period...
You need to have really long arms, work blind, tie lanyards to your tools.
I just got it out, now to get the new one in....

Yuck!!!!!!!!

Thats what I was afraid of

Thanks for the input guys!!!!!!!

I have a 1994 272 sailfish, if your fishing deck haves the two parts that covers the fuel tanks. The littler one to the aft comes out and gives you a lot more room to get to it, you still have to stand on your head but its easyer that any other way I saw to get to it. All's I did was cut the caulk out with a knife, remove the 20 or so screws and lift it out. When done that blue painting tape on both sides of your caulk line, caulk , finger the caulk in, dry. Pull off the tape. I had other work to do back there, my primer pumps needed work. I belive the 272 and 252 are the same. Hope that helps.

Thanks Freddy I need to pop that one up anyway to get at some hoses. I will talk a look at the scuppers reach while Im there. Thanks

Popped that deck hacth off yesterday, :( Not even close.

Has anyone on this board ever changed them?

Whats the secret?

Did you get to those starboard scuppers? If you did, how did you do it? I'm doing a 1996 Sailfish 272 and other than cutting an access hatch, I just don't see how I'll be able to replace them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

PM sent, but in short, didnt get to them yet, have to this fall, will share my intended sucess with bloody knuckles and fiberglass splinters.
