I have been rewiring a lot of my electrical panel and noted that on some of my toggle switched there are 2 and sometimes 3 wires that connect to a single male 1/4" blade. I tried pulling these female connectors apart but have been unable to do so. Are these 2 or 3 gang female blade connectors sold as such or can they be built up by adding a metal piece between them?

Thanks!

You can buy the connectors with the extra tab on them.

You could solder a short tail to the 2 or 3 wires. Heat shrink tubing with sealant should be used. Then use a single crimp connector on the tail piece.
I have also seen multiple wires crimped in a single connector. You just need to get one made for a larger gauge wire. Twist the two or three wires together and insert and crimp. I would still use heat shrink tubing unless the connector is already a sealing type
