Hey all,

Taking my "new to me" 92 232 Gulfstream to the marina tomorrow for it's new home of dry storage. First repair is to pull engines and figure out what to do with the Grady Drive. Some say powder coat, others say to just paint it. Need to get all the existing paint and rust off of it first. We'll see.

I'm assuming the fuel tanks are original, so figured I'd replace before they leak. Any thoughts on what I should pay to have new tanks made? If I hired someone to do the job of installation, how many hours should it take, or is this a DIY upgrade?

Finally, is there a way that I can replace the blue striping and all the Grady White decals on the boat? They aren't in too bad shape, but I think it would look great with new ones. Is there a place to guy the OEM striping and decals for that model and year?

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to my shake-down cruise, but want to get that Grady Drive fixed first.

In regard to stripes and decals I did this a few years back. I could find all the logo decals online IIRC on ebay. Good quality and looked fine. At that time I could not source the stripes online from any of the people who sold the logo stuff. My local dealer had some NOS stripes on the shelf that I got. Had just enough to get the job done on my 25. Since then I think I have seen the stripes available online. My NOS stripes were a bit hard to install as they had lost some of their elasticity, putting them on around the bow curve was a bit of a job. All the rest of the install was pretty easy.
