I got my MSC10 Satellite compass and should install it soon in front of the Radar near the bow end of the hardtop.
He has 3 treaded bolts to drill to the Hardtop and i must have access inside the two shell hardtop to tighten the 3 nuts.
As far i remember the hard top is two piece, upper and lower shell glued together, nice to hide cables and hardware, but less to install additional electronic.
Any idea how i can get in there to tighten the 3 nuts without cutting a hole in the lower shell of the hardtop?
I guess there should not be problems for the cables as i can use a fish tape to feed them in the void between the two shells and exit either in the electronics box thru a pipe inside the console.
I am not sure and can not verify as boat is 80 miles up north, is the hardtop also double sided inside the electronics box, or there only the outer layer?
Option would be to install the MSC10 there , but i fear that the radar dome will partially obstruct the view to satellites.
