Has anyone installed the Garmin Fuel Sensor with their Garmin network? Are you happy with it and is it accurate?
I thought it would make a cheap addition to my newly installed network until I learned I needed two becasue I have two engines.
If I only installed one, it would give total fuel flow for both engines which under most circumstances would be all the information I needed. Or am I missing something?

One sending unit will monitor fuel to one engine only. A second one would be necessary to measure fuel flow to both motors. (you have separate fuel lines from the tank or switch to each motor.) I installed one sending unit just to get a better estimate of fuel consumption rather than trying to decipher the yami fuel gauge. I have not used it yet. Maybe next year I will install the second one.
In addition, if you have two fuel tanks, a second meter would be necessary to accurately measure fuel remaining in the tank. One sensor gets connected to one tank.
