There is a 273 with twin 150's for sale at my old marina in NJ. I have not seen boat yet. A former dockmate took a few pics and sent me the phone number of the "for sale" sign. According to my friend, the boat is immaculate. My guess is that the boat is a dock queen.
Couple of questions for those in the know...
1. This is a relatively heavy boat. Are 300 ponies enough to push this hull adequately? Any ideas of fuel consumption? I looked at the Yamaha website but was unable to find the answer there.
2. Is there an issue with chine walking with this hull and these motors?
3. Does the boat list when the live well is full? It offset to port.
4. I know it does not have the deep, deep Vee like some others, but how does the hull handle ugly 2-3 foot chop?
Thank you.
