I am looking for opinions on a kicker bracket for a GW 258 Journey. I attached a photo of location "A" would be for a swim platform type kicker bracket and location "B" would be for a "saltbossmarine" bracket or "adventuremarine.ca" model 4100 bracket. My concerns for location "A" would be too far port to be off balance with a 100lb kicker motor. With the swim platform bracket on location "A", I would still be able to use the strap down anchor points. Location "B" has be concerned over being to close to the main motor for full turn towards port. Any ideas and help would greatly be appreciated. PS: has anyone had any contact with saltbossmarine in recent days? I sent 2 emails, no luck and tried calling for the past 5 days and all I get is a message "mailbox full, call back". I want to stay away from panther and garelick as I hear those brackets are not designed for trailering.
