Those of you that saw my original thread know I just bought a new 228. Me and the Mrs have been tossing around some names.

The Grady Bunch
background on this is that my Dad has a 258 that we fish up in Canada (we will now fish mine in Washington)

Masha Grady

Marsha Marsha Marsha

The Minnow 2
If I ever sank it would make national news for sure! I would finally be a big deal....at least for a few minutes.

Something related to my beloved Marine Corps (I just can't think of anything)

Any other ideas?

i think people often regret jokey names for boats after a couple of years.

just "marsha" could work. let others fill it in... and then if the joke gets old you still have a stand alone name.

Do a name search on the net.
Don't do anything with grady, marsha or any cheap/stupid pun or the like. You will regret it.

I will have to agree with suzukidave on this one. But if you do, I would steer away from Marsha Grady. The reason being, I assume you will keep the Grady White logo at the stern. With the Grady name already on the boat, I think Marsha Grady May be a bit awkward. Just my 2c. Enjoy the new 228! Great boats.

I agree with all of the above posts. And whatever you name your boat PLEASE do not name it Shady Grady....there are already like 100000 boats with that name. three in my marina alone.

and Mr Kessel Run with that screen name I'm sorry but you shouldn't call her the Millenium Falcon either... lol good luck with the new boat

However relating to the beloved Marine Corps, the Devil Dog or Leatherneck just might work. or perhaps the K-Bar. or the Sea Bag.

I like the Sea Bag one.

They can't sink with its full foam flotation!

How about "Semper Grady"?
