Does anyone know who the G/W owner was who rescued the two Bahamian Conch Fisherman 27 miles out of New Smyrna Beach (Ponce Inlet) on Sunday ? I just caught part of the story on the late news Sunday night...looked like a 28' Sailfish or perhaps a 300 Marlin. The Bahamians were adrift for four days and had no food or water except for the raw Conch they had harvested in Bahamas waters. Anyway, if the Skipper of that G/W reads this Congratulations...that was the catch of a lifetime !

My Dad and I fished a guy out of the middle of Delaware Bay about 7 years ago. No other boats around for miles and if we hadn't seen the guy, he would have been gone forever within minutes.

Saving a life give you a feeling you just can't put into words. :)

Good job Capt....wherever you are. :D

A few years ago rescued a guy on a wave runner 20 some miles off shore.
His engine just stopped, and the guy did not even have a handheld vhf with him.It was his lucky day that day.
