Fished a friends boat on Sunday morning, (215 aquasport) since mine is still in hibernation. Anchored up by 6:45 AM. Heckscher Flats for a while, then Nichols Point. 38 degrees, winds 10-15 (reported) but I'd swear 20 plus, no sunshine. Mussel chum and sand worms. 3 3/4 hours, two fish, first one 13 inches (his-in the cooler), the other 9 inches (mine-released). Its nice the bag limit is 10, but I doubt that many people will have to worry about it this year.
Great to be out on the water again, no matter what the conditions.

Thanks GT. I think somethings going to happen soon. A couple of guys from my marina went out today and got about 9. Water temp is in the lower 50's so some warmer days should spark it up.

Unfortunatly I havent got out once yet this year. I got the new boat last week and im just about done installing the electronics. Seems every day I go down to the dock its blowing 25+ anyway. The guys that are going out seem to be coming back with more fish everyday.
