2012 Marlin 300, the pump for the live well needs to be replaced. I cant see a make or model number. anyone know the replacement . thanks Leonard

2008 Marlin
1100 gpm ShurFlo Bait Sentry pump
Had to replace mine last year
Others may say there are better pumps but, for me, it was easier to just replace the original.

I replaced mine with the bait sentry 800, and now wish I had used the 1100.

Can this pump be safely replaced while the boat is in the water?

Yes, as long as your seacock works properly. They can become frozen if not regularly "exercised." Just make sure the lever moves freely open and closed before removing your livewell pump.

That's what I thought just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something.

Thanks

replaced it last weekend. piece of cake. it was nice to have a part just unscrew, take off the hose clamps and replace. no modifications or cursing that it doesn't fit.
