I don't know much about their extended warranty policies but as with many such policies, the actual underwritter's reputation is key. In addition, I rarely (very rarely) opt for extended warrantees and when I do, it is only if the underwriter or issuer is the same manufacturer as the product. For example and only an example, if I were to consider a warranty for a GE washing machine, it would have to be from GE themselves. Even then, it is important to completely understand what the terms, deductibles, exclusions, etc. are for the policies.
