I have a 2001 282 Sailfish with cabin light issues, two work two will not. I’ve test for voltage on the wires coming out at headliner. My question is can I find the junction by removal of headliner? The schematics show a junction box or connection up there.
Thanks for any ideas

Have these lights ever worked?

You tested the voltage. What were the readings on all 4 or at least the two that did not work.

Measure voltage from a working light to the non-working light to se if you are missing 12 volt power or the ground.

When I used a meter to begin with the main cabin has no power and the head has no power. The under cockpit birth works and the spotlight outside the head works.

Similar year boat.

Mine are slow to come on, every time, they take 30 seconds to a min to get going and it's not as though they slowly warm up, they click on but it's delayed. The spot light outside head is quick, but all of the domes with push button switches are like this, and I have no clue why. .
