heres a tip we found very helpfull,when removing old setup we tied string to cable n pulled thru under deck.tied string to new cable and pushed n pulled from both ends.not as bad as it looked.we hear on some applications outboard has to be removed to get cable thru outboard tube ?left string in place so if we ever add electronics we could use it again to aid fishin it thru under deck.
