Decided to swap these covers (aka actuators) out. A few of mine have the icon in the lighted square area and label worn from use over the years. The icon area is illuminated when the Nav/Anchor light switch is turned on. The light bar illuminates when the specific switch is turned to the 'on' position.

They offer various nomenclature switch covers with all GW types available. There are several though that do not have the light bar. I'm checking with the firm to get these offered as they indicate they do custom etching. They also offer the snap tool for $5 to allow proper prying so you don't damage the rocker pins and have to replace the switch.
On my boat (assume all GWs) all switches except the red Horn have the light bar. A good feature that I want to keep.
All switches are the newer Contoura V model. They will fit the Contoura I switches used on GWs prior to 2008 and also Contoura II switches used on GW 2008 forward.
They have the circular bumps, red light bar but have a red lighted square versus the light green that the ones on my 2006 GW have. I think the red will be fine.
The cost is $5 an actuator.
So for the 10 switches and tool, it will run $55 before ship and any tax.
There are other sites out there that offer these actuators in various styles (color, with or without square lighted icon, various square lighted icon colors, with or without light bar etc. I didn't find another site that offers the etching though. Ebay has the GW kit (these are what are on my boat) for $97 (no tool in that price) before ship and any tax.
