is the pedestal wobbling or is the seat wobbly ( no pedestal movement)?
Wobbly pedestal on older boats usually means the structure under the pedestal is soft or rotten. Structure may be OK and only the screws or bolts have come loose.
Provide more info like model and year boat and more detail on what seems loose.

U can buy new bushings that go between the seat post and the friction clamp under the seat if that is loose. In my 04 300 turns out the vertical adjustment to raise & lower the seat was wobbling I never raise or lower it so just took the whole post mount off cut the extended tube off the btm and had it welded no squeaks or wiggle any more
