I have a 07 33 express.
the holding tank indicator show mid, I run the discharge pump which seems to be on but the indicator does not change. I had the dealer fix it about 5 month ago, at which time it was a pump problem.

I pumped out the holding tank last Saturday, but the indictor still shows mid.

has anybody had similar issues.

Are you sure it's discharging? I assume the '07s have the new style without the macerator. I had an issue with my '08. Pump ran but no discharge. They have what they call a "duck valve" on each side of the pump. If you turn the discharge pump on before you open the valve it inverts the valve which you will then need to replace. It's a pain. It's a lousy set up but they blame it on operator error but its really an engineering issue I beleive. I now tether the key to the valve so it can't happen.

You can get it to empty if you leave the discharge valve open and run at cruise speed. (Be sure you are in legal water) This gets it empty for an emergency.

I had a similar problem with the duck valve. I took the whole thing apart to look for a problem and discovered the valve was turned inside out. I corrected the valve, reinstalled it and its been good ever since.

Duckbill valve. Correct, if you run the pump with the discharge seacock closed, the valves will be sucked inside out. BUT, the first time you replace the valves you'll never forget again.

Ain't that the truth..It's a sh__y job!

Make sure the cap for the pump out is closed tightly. If it is loose even a bit the discharge pump won't work.

So very true..Thats why I havent had a problem since.

I just made this mistake yesterday on my 01 330. Anyone have the link to what specific valve I need?
Also location of the valve and any tips would be greatly appreciated!

There are two potential issues. One is that the pump is not pumping out and I have no idea if that is the case here. The second is that the level sensor is not working, I don't know what model the sender is but if it is a float type, it could be stuck. When you say that last Saturday you pumped out the tank, was that a dockside pumpout?. If that actually did pump out contents but the display didn't change, the sender itself or the display controller is the issue.

This thread is from 2008 and is 16 years old now at this point, of which I'm not even sure if the OP is still a member since it doesn't show when he was last on the GG forums here. Though it does appear that his latest posting was back in 2011. That, as well as every other member that posted on this thread, none of them have been back to the site in at least a year, some of which haven't been back on here since 2014-2015. I'd honestly just start another thread for the same topic and go from there.

I make that mistake often. Perhaps each message should have an 'originally poster on date' of some sort.
Some boards automatically lock threads after a period of inactivity. That could also be an option.
