I have twin OX66 225 on my 99 Sailfish.
They start fine, but on the last two trips, after anchoring out, the starboard will turn, and if it catches, revs to 900, then cuts off.
After a couple of minutes, she will start and run fine until the next time, usually home. Port works fine, thankfully.
The only thing unusual I noted is that the starboard electric primer makes a different noise than the port.
Many thread discussions are about bulb primers, and changes inside the motor.
I am trying to eliminate other causes before taking off the cowling.
Attached is a picture with parts that might be in play here. Absent any schematics, can anyone ID these items, perhaps even a manuf. or model? On the part on the right, I noted that one of the leads on the bottom came loose with little help.
(Oops, no pics allowed...starboard side, after the Racors, appears to have incoming & outgoing fuel lines, squared off hourglass shape. Second item, aft of that, smaller, two wire leads from the bottom.)
I am getting ready to find out how much more I can learn about the boat, and would appreciate any guidance.
Many thanks.
