Is the live well the only access? I pulled the live well and my arms can reach the float switch or pump. Is there another access to get at the bilge pump and float switch?

That's the only way I know of. Put a cushion of some sort on the edge and lean in. Or find a small child and drop them down there. :)

Thanks G8rDave! I was afraid someone was going to confirm that! I cant believe that the only access. I can barely touch the top of my bilge pump. Not sure how i am going to get at it. Did you ever have to replace your pump? How did you do it?Gonna pop the access hole closest to the pump. See if i can get at it that way. Not sure what under there. I am guessing gas tanks.

With or without a gas tank, there will be a solid bulkhead blocking access to the bilge. I replaced the pump in my T-22 (I can barely reach the hull, too) using a long handled screw driver, and a long claw pick-up for retrieving/placing stuff. When ready to reinstall, super glue the screws to the screw driver, the bond is easily broken when tightening the screw. True backyard mechanics is an art form ...

ok...will give it a shot. superglue tip i think is key! tku

I've had to replace my livewell pump a couple times and both of my seacock handles (rusted away). But I don't find the access that hard. Maybe I have long arms or something. I actually think its pretty easy to get in there, but I'm sure I look silly headfirst in the hole with my ass sticking out the top. :)

I don't find it hard to get to the bottom of the bilge. I replaced my bilge pump with a bigger unit when I got my boat . If you think this is hard try doing this on a 2102 Trophy.
