I am prepairing to refinish the trash can lid and was wondering about the maximum thickness the System Three fairing can be applied. I have some areas that are about 3/32 deep that need to be filled. Use System Three or an epoxy resin? Thanks
Have a great Christmas!

Fairing compound is merely meant to smooth the surface, fill pin holes, etc. It is not meant to build thickness. I would lay a bit of 3/4 oz. mat w/ epoxy to get the area as flat as possible and then fair and gelcoat.
