Journey 258 - Electronics

Hi Everyone,

I currently have a Garmin 3210 installed in the hardtop electronics box of my 258. I really don't like it there. Looking at the screen is a PIA. I would like to move it down to the helm and it won't fit in the lockable box. I am curious if any other 258 owners have modified the helm to accomodate a large screen. If you have, any photos and advice would be appreciated.

Drudd: I thought about doing the same recently, except I was buying new electronics. I couldn't find a way to get a 10" screen in the helm box without way more cutting of the box than I'm prepared to do. I went with a Garmin 4208 and mounted it inside the helm box. Even at that I had to move the radio out of the helm box (I have a soft top).
