Angler lands 50-poundstriper at Cumberland
Larry Hopkins of Louisville caught a 50-pound striped bass last week at Lake Cumberland while fishing with guide Tony Van Arsdale of Floyds Knobs.
Van Arsdale said they were trolling alewives about 30 feet deep around midmorning when the fish hit. It was 47 inches long with a 33-inch girth.
