I put in a sandbag bid on eBay for a Kohler 5E generator that had been submerged. I bought the whole thing for $50 plus shipping which was about $150 (that sucker was heavy). Anyway it arrived in 3 boxes in pieces. All the non-mechanical non-electrical bits are in pretty decent shape. The electric box and drip tray are remarkably rust free. Pistons are stuck but block is good I think. The heat exchanger is like new. I'm not looking to make money but a lot of us with older Grady's had the 5E and could use these bits and pieces. Also, I have most of a brand new never used sound shield from another 5E I bought and installed on my boat. PM me your wishes and they are yours for a few bucks and the cost of shipping. Be patient as I'm not in the parts business but passing them on is better than throwing them out.
