I have a 2006 Yamaha 250 HP four stroke that I believe has a leak. After using the boat I leave the motor in the full up position and find it is down quite a bit the next time I go to the dock. This motor is still under warrenttee. The question is does the warranttee cover a leak in the hydraulic cylinders on this motor?

Read what and for how long each section of your motor is covered. Some sections may only have a year or two. Some may have 5 or 6. You'd like to think that the warranty would cover EVERYTHING on the motor for the duration of the warranty, but that's not always the case...
