LED /VHF Interference?

That news was published quite some time ago both online and in boating magazines. I don't remember if there was more of a problem with receiving or transmitting but it was stated that the proximity of the LED fixture to antennas was a major factor. For most recreational boats, the mast light was more prone to cause interference but not all led fixtures had the problem.
I guess the new salutation on the radio would be " Can you here me know, I have my lights turned off"
