Leg length on Grady Offshore

Hi All: I asked earlier about switching to a single 225hp outboard on my 24.1 ft Offshore and went ahead and purchased the motor. My concern is the cavitation plate is 3 inches above the bottom of the hull and I am wondering if the prop will receive sufficient water when I am on a plane. Has anyone experienced any problems with a similar layout.
