Lowrance 3D underwater view

Has anyone seen the ad for the Lowrance LCX-113C HD which shows the split screen with the 3D underwater view?

It looks very cool.

Is this part of the sonar or GPS mapping?

Is it included with the unit or an extra?

Is it available on the LCX-28C HD?

Spoke with a Lowrance rep at the AC boatshow. According to him, sometime next month, (March, 2008) They'll have a software update, that will allow 3D map viewing, on all 5 inch models, (GlobalMap) and up! You will need a Platinum chip, and part of the update will allow units, that currently can only use chips up to gold, to use the platinum.
It will not permit 3D sonar viewing on units that do not already have that feature, only GPS map views.
He demonstrated it on a 5 inch model at the show, and it's pretty cool, but I don't know how practical it will be in the real world, when navigating. Imo, I think "sonar" 3D is more important.
