A while back I posted that my electric stove element would not turn on. Today I was messing with it and happened to pull up a little knob. Well I be damned..... That powers it on! Anybody ever use the alcohol stove? Where do get the fuel and how does it work?

If it's a alcohol stove it will use rubbing alcohol or Denatured Alcohol (methylated spirits), but on my boat our stove used butane so I don't know, The only alcohol stoves I've used are the home made can and toilet paper stoves for winter camping, and they use rubbing alcohol.
