Whats the best way to mount a pedestal on the floor of my 205. I removed the port sleeper, which had 6 factory installed #8 SS sheet metal screws holding it in place. Those are all epoxy filled and gel coated. We have a matching deluxe I seat we are installing. There is NO access under the port side floor. Should I use 5 #14 SS sheet metal screws? or drill a 13/64" hole and tap for 1/4x20 bolt and thread that into the floor? The latter I was told works best in fiberglass vs the sheet metal screw splintering the glass!
thanks,
Byron

Yea, thought about the toggle bolts, but that would require 5 - 1/2" holes. Not sure if I want to do that know or later if/when the screws or bolts didn't hold up!
